About the Music: "Orange Landings is a solo music project by the Austin musician Aaron Ryan. The songs
are elaborate cut and paste operations - fusing glittery electropop blips and beats with organic indie
songwriting (the musical equivilant of a macaroni necklace). Live shows are generally performed in a
"man vs. computer" format, contrasting the predetermined with the improvised. He also sometimes wears
funny hats." About the Artist: "Singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Aaron Daniel Ryan was born
in New Orleans, but spent most of his life in small-town Louisiana. After acquiring a degree in music
from Louisiana State University, he packed up and migrated westward to the artistic battleground of Austin,
Texas. Outside of music, Aaron has worked as a Bank Teller, Barista, Bookkeeper, Bookseller, Cashier,
Christmas Tree Salesman, Customer Service Representative, Doorman, Forklift Operator, House Painter, Office
Intern, Projectionist, Renovation Coordinator, Substitute Teacher, and Warehouse Worker."
